Fête funèbre is an artistic study conducted over several years at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk. It focused on the relationship between art and death and included a large exhibition whose catalog we designed, and this companion publication of critical essays.
The two books are based on the same layout, though modified for the second one, and both include design solutions associated with death-related designs, such as black color and bold frames around texts. Typographic dagger reappears in its second variant, this time denoting additionally a second book. The sides of the book pages are painted black.
